Remember Music Festival is the 5 year memorial concert to commemorate The Route 91 Harvest Festival and is organized by The Country Strong Project, Stoney’s Rockin’ Country and Clark County Nevada, with proceeds benefiting the 1October Permanent Memorial. Their goal is to give people what they want, whether it be a memorial, a meaningful representation, or just something beautiful. The tattoos will be planned by the recipient and artist together, and the designs do not have to relate to their profession. REMEMBRANCE TATTOOS FOR PASSED LOVED ONES PROFESSIONALOn September 29, 2022, they are offering a limited number of free tattoos from professional artists to Southern Nevada responders and other professionals who support emergency response. Healing Ink covers the scars (physical and emotional) of those affected by violence, helping them reclaim their bodies and continue to heal. The Art of Healing mural was created by local artists and students at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts high school. The exhibit at the Government Center will include banners and other items from the museum’s collection as well as the Art of Healing mural and Angels of Love exhibit created in remembrance of the first anniversary of 1 October. The Government Center is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. The Clark County Museum will host a 1 October Remembrance Exhibit in the Rotunda Gallery (located on the first floor of the Clark County Government Center) from September 28 to October 13.
